AGM and Awards’ Night 2022
What a fantastic night it was, at what is now our new clubhouse, Delaney’s Wanchai. The evening started with the important task of electing our new ExCom. Thank you to all those who stood for election and many thanks to Jackie and Peter for their hard work and contributions over the years. Congratulations to Francesco and Morgan on their appointment to ExCom, and Evans and Graeme who were re-elected as General Committee members.
The entertaining part of the night by far was the Awards’ presentation. After a couple short-lived seasons, due to Covid-19, it was great to finally present a complete set of awards for the 2021/22 season. We also had the pleasure of awarding five referees with Honorary Life Membership (Class of 2022). Well done to all of the award winners. You have worked so hard and pushed your referee abilities to the limit to make this success happen. Congratulations!
To end the wonderful evening, we unveiled our 2022-2025 Sponsors and with them our new kit for the next three years. We were delighted to be joined by representatives from our sponsors on the night, as well as Robbie McRobbie and Paddy Donovan representing the HKRU.
